Formocon FM270 POM Resin

Formocon FM270 is a high-flow virgin POM (polyoxymethylene) grade designed for fast cycling production and complex molding applications. Thanks to its excellent fluidity and balanced mechanical properties, FM270 is widely used in thin-wall parts, precision components and high-volume injection molding projects for automotive, electrical, industrial and consumer goods sectors.

Processing Recommendation

FM270 is generally processed by injection molding. For best results, barrel temperature, injection speed, back pressure and mold temperature should be controlled according to the technical data sheet. Its high flow property supports lower injection pressure and faster cavity filling. Although POM is less hygroscopic than polyamides, pre-drying is recommended if the material has been exposed to humid conditions.
